Grass Sledging in Ernstthal
It's a wild ride...
Fun, sports and recreation are taken very seriously in the idyllic village of Ernsttahl. The small Thuringan village 800 metres above sea level offers its guests numerous recreation facilities. One of these is the grass sledging (summer tobogganing) course.
Even before you start, you can familiarise yourself with the course like a pro when the double pull lift takes its sledgers the 500 meters up to the starting point.
And then it goes on an exhilarating ride under bridges and around bends down the mountain again.
Open daily from 10am to 6pm (except when raining) in the season from April through November.
