For centuries it has been the dream of man to overcome gravity and to soar through the sky, free as a bird.
It was in 1783 that the brothers Mongolfier in France succeeded to launch a hot air balloon. It is therefore the first flying vehicle in the history of man.
The principle of the hot air balloon to gain height by heating up air has not changed since then.
The modern balloon is high tech gear, built from many expensive materials, that, together with good training of the pilots, ensure a safe ride.
